[16], 206, [2] pages, including colophon leaf with printer's device on verso. 8vo, 159x100 mm, contemporary blind-tooled pigskin over pasteboard, worn, rear cover darkened, lacking ties; marginal dampstaining mainly at beginning and end, presswork flaw at bottom of page 8 causing slight text loss, front free endpaper lacking. Collected edition of the writings of a noted Ferrara-born classical scholar, poet, and Protestant convert (1526-55), who settled in Germany following her marriage.
